On August 6th, 2025, the US Government signed an executive order establishing an additional 25% tariff on all Indian imports beginning on August 27th, 2025.
This tariff is in addition to the already applied reciprocal tariff of 25% bringing the total tariff on Indian goods to 50% on all products.

Several goods are exempt from this tariff, including those goods already tariffed under Section 232, those exempt from the reciprocal tariffs in general, or those listed in Annex II to Executive Order 14257.
