NOAA Fisheries Announces New Seafood Requirements Beginning Jan 1, 2026

Beginning on January 1st, 2026, under the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), certain goods from specific countries will be banned or restricted in the US. Certain goods from these regions will require a Certificate of Admissibility (COA) to be eligible for import into the US.

You are encouraged to work closely with your broker to ensure that your goods have all the new appropriate documentation required for entry into the US.
