eManifest Filing Services
About the ACI eManifest Program
"The advance Commercial Information (ACI) program is about providing Canada Border Services Agency officers with electronic pre-arrival cargo and conveyance information so that they have access to the right information at the right time to identify health, safety and security threats related to commercial goods before the goods arrive in Canada."
Much like ACE for reporting southbound crossings to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, ACI eManifest is the requirement for highway carriers to transmit their cargo and conveyance data to CBSA for northbound crossings, no less than 1 hour prior to arrival at the border.

Timeline for ACI eManifest Implementation:
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced on March 6, 2013 that due to timelines associated with regulatory processes, the CBSA is extending the eManifest informed compliance period for highway carriers. Regulations to enforce eManifest requirements for highway carriers are expected to be in place in fall 2013. The CBSA anticipates being able to provide carriers as much as 45 days advance notice of the mandatory compliance date.
